The 2026 OneUp Squamish Enduro is a premier mountain biking event held in the world-renowned trail networks of Squamish, British Columbia. Scheduled for Sunday, May 3, 2026, starting at 8:00 AM PDT, the race centers its operations at the Capilano University Squamish Campus. Organized in collaboration with the Squamish Off-Road Cycling Association (SORCA), the event offers three distinct course lengths catering to different skill levels, from intermediate "Classics" riders to elite "Full Course" competitors tackling double black diamond terrain. Entry fees include race timing, a trail donation to SORCA, and an après-race meal with drinks.
The Squamish Enduro is known for its high-climb, high-descent volume, testing both the technical descending skills and the physical endurance of participants. While the Full and Short courses are currently sold out, spots remain for the Classics course and the U-21 Women's category.
| Category | Total Distance | Total Climbing | Trail Difficulty |

Squamish is a district municipality at the north end of Howe Sound, with a population of approximately 24,000 residents. It has transformed from a logging town into the self-proclaimed "Outdoor Recreation Capital of Canada." Demographically, Squamish is approximately 74.1% White/European, 12.4% South Asian (predominantly Punjabi), 4.2% Indigenous, 2.8% Filipino, and 1.7% Chinese. The town attracts a younger, active demographic, with a median age of 37.9—significantly lower than the provincial average. The median household income is roughly $114,000 CAD, reflecting a workforce largely comprised of professionals in the tech, tourism, and outdoor industries.
The local culture is defined by a trail-first mentality. Organizations like SORCA are essential to the town’s identity, maintaining hundreds of kilometers of single-track that attract riders from around the globe. Residents are deeply protective of their environment but highly welcoming to the mountain biking community, viewing trail maintenance and race hosting as vital civic duties. The OneUp Squamish Enduro is a "local favorite" that embodies this spirit, blending high-stakes competition with a social "après" atmosphere that celebrates the region's rugged coastal rainforest terrain.
Participants should expect technical, "West Coast" style riding, characterized by steep granite slabs, root-filled loamy descents, and demanding physical transfers between stages. The Capilano University campus provides a centralized hub for race logistics and post-race festivities. By 8:00 AM on May 3rd, the University Boulevard area will be buzzing with hundreds of riders adjusting suspension and checking tire pressures before heading into the hills. The event emphasizes community support, with local trail stewards and medical teams ensuring a safe, organized experience through some of the most challenging mountain bike terrain in North America.
