2026 Rotary Brandywine Boogie

Race morning sees the air crisp as it fills the Whistler valley, setting the stage for this unique event. Participants can expect to run through diverse landscapes, crossing rivers via sturdy bridges and navigating varied terrains. The atmosphere is one of anticipation; runners and walkers alike gather at Cheakamus, ready to tackle the challenging yet scenic course. This race has been running since 2013, with thousands participating each year to support local Rotary initiatives that benefit the community.
The course venue offers a mix of well-maintained gravel tracks and single track sections, providing both an exhilarating challenge and breathtaking views. Runners will start at Cheakamus at 9:00am, weaving through the trails until they reach Cal-Cheak Camp Ground where the finish line awaits. The route includes notable features such as river crossings on a sturdy bridge that adds to the adventure.
On race day, expect firm but slightly soft trail conditions with moderate UV index levels, ensuring it's not too harsh for runners. Temperatures will range from cool at sunrise to comfortable during the run; however, a light jacket or windbreaker might be wise due to possible breezes. Bibs will be available for pickup on Friday, September 25th from 1:00pm to 7:00pm at the Whistler Olympic Plaza. Participants need to bring their ID and proof of payment.
