2026 Tour de Thorncliffe TO (Toronto) Bike-a-Thon fundraising
About the Event
Join the vibrant community of Thorncliffe Park for the annual Tour de Thorncliffe, set to return on June 13th with a series of engaging events designed to bring together families and supporters. This year's event is not just about cycling; it’s an inclusive celebration aimed at raising funds for free summer camps that benefit children with special needs. The tour kicks off with the Opening Ceremony & First Lap, where participants can warm up on June 13th. As the days progress, riders will enjoy a "Miles for Smiles" group ride in Flemingdon Park on June 20th and a collective ride under the Women’s Cycling Network's lead at R.V. Burgess park on June 27th. The highlight of the event is the Tour de Thorncliffe Campers Victory Lap on July 4th, starting from Thorncliffe Park School. This lap will wind through the neighborhood in a parade that celebrates the success and inclusivity of our camps. The tour culminates with the Closing Ceremony & Final Lap on July 11th at 10 am. Tour de Thorncliffe is more than just a race; it’s an opportunity to contribute to making life-changing experiences possible for children who need them most. By participating or donating, you can help provide free, enriching camp experiences that foster social skills and outdoor play while ensuring every child has the chance to learn, grow, and thrive. This year, we're excited to introduce a new fundraising element: Donate to win! For every $5 donated before July 12th, participants will receive one raffle ticket. The more you contribute, the greater your chances of winning amazing prizes on draw day at our Grand Celebration event. Additionally, for each $5 raised by individuals or teams, they gain another chance in the raffle. Whether you're a seasoned cyclist or just looking to support this worthy cause, Tour de Thorncliffe offers something for everyone. Mark your calendars and join us as we celebrate community, inclusivity, and the power of cycling to bring people together. Together, let’s make a difference!
