Explore Toronto's Dragon Boat Racing Scene with GWN Dragon Boat - Spring Program Spring is the perfect season to dip your toes into dragon boat racing, and GWN Dragon Boat offers an exciting opportunity for both beginners and seasoned paddlers. Whether you're looking to try something new or sharpen your skills before a big event, we have two packages tailored just for you. For those eager to embark on this exhilarating journey, the Train & Race Package is ideal. This five-week program not only provides hands-on training but also culminates in a thrilling race at our annual GWN Sport Regatta. Each session lasts one hour and includes expert coaching from seasoned dragon boat enthusiasts. All you need to bring are clothes that can get wet – we handle the rest, providing boats, paddles, life jackets, and even team gear for the festival. As part of this package, participants will have the chance to join in on our GWN Sport Regatta on July 18th, competing alongside fellow program members under a tent set up in the Athletes' Village. Alternatively, if you're already familiar with dragon boat racing or simply want to fine-tune your skills before the big event, the Race Ready Package is perfect. This one-off practice session offers coaching from experienced instructors and includes all necessary equipment. You'll be ready for action at the GWN Sport Regatta, where entry is included as part of this package. Join us in the Athletes' Village with a team shirt and your own tent. Whether you're looking to meet new friends or simply enjoy the thrill of dragon boat racing, these programs offer an unforgettable experience right here in Toronto.
