Since its inception in 2004, this event has grown into a community staple that raises crucial funds to help support Laurel Advocacy & Referral Services (LARS). The race offers both a five-kilometer run and one-mile walk for those of all abilities, with the course starting and finishing at the historic Laurel Town Center.
The race route takes participants through the downtown area, where they will pass by the town’s quaint shops and cafes before heading towards the more residential parts. Elevation changes are minimal but noticeable as runners navigate a mix of flat sections and slight inclines. There is one aid station located mid-race to ensure that all participants have access to water and energy gels.

Age requirements for participants include being at least 18 years old or accompanied by an adult guardian if under that age.
