Part #2 of the Ten Sisters of Dewey Beach series. The 24th Dewey Beach Patrol 5k runs on Sunday, June 14, 2026, starting at North Beach Restaurant on the bay. 5K run/walk and a separate competitive walking category — strict no running, no jogging, no exceptions for walkers. Post‑race party with food and beer (21+). All finishers receive gender‑specific tech shirts and giveaways. Benefits the Dewey Beach Patrol.

Competitive Walking 5K
Walk only — no running, no jogging, no exceptions • Same course, separate awards

Location & Course:

North Beach Restaurant, 125 McKinley Street, Dewey Beach, Delaware (on the bay side)
Course map available on event page — flat, fast, coastal Delaware terrain
Starts and finishes near the bay, with views of the Rehoboth Bay and Dewey Beach shoreline
Aid station on course (water and sports drink)

Logistics:

Registration opens at 6:30 AM on race day
Race start at 7:30 AM
Parking: limited parking at North Beach Restaurant. FREE parking at meters and side streets until 10:00 AM. Do not move or raise gates on parking lots at The Rudder or IVY.
No refunds on registrations. Bibs are non‑transferable. Do not run with someone else's bib.
No dogs allowed (insurance liability).
Strollers? Not specified — likely not recommended on competitive 5K course.
