On May 16, 2027, the vibrant city of Lancaster will come alive with the energy and excitement of the 3-1-5 Birthday Run. This annual celebration features three distinct races: a challenging 10k, an accessible 5k, and a fun-filled 1k run for all ages. The event kicks off at 10:30 AM with the 1k Fun Run, designed to engage young runners and families alike in a joyful atmosphere. Moments later, at 11:00 AM sharp, participants will take on either the scenic 5k or the more demanding 10k routes. Both races wind through picturesque Lancaster, offering runners breathtaking views of historic landmarks, lush green spaces, and charming local neighborhoods. The course is meticulously planned to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all competitors, with water stations and medical support available along the way. All finishers will receive commemorative medals as a token of their achievement, while prizes await the top three male and female runners in each race category. Additionally, awards are given to the first veteran competitor in every age group and the fastest mixed-gender teams. The 3-1-5 Birthday Run adheres strictly to UK Athletics rules, ensuring fair play and competitive integrity throughout the event. Participants should note that there is no refund policy for cancellations or deferrals. Join the fun on May 16th as Lancaster transforms into a hub of athletic enthusiasm and community spirit!
