The race begins from an elevated viewpoint overlooking the serene River Ribble, setting the stage for runners as they embark on a scenic 10-kilometre journey through lush landscapes and meandering trails. The route winds alongside the river, offering glimpses of local wildlife such as deer in their natural habitat, making this run not just about speed but also an adventure into nature.

Upon crossing the finish line, runners will be greeted by a gin distillery bar set up at both the start and end locations, providing refreshing drinks for participants and spectators alike. With a minimum age requirement of 18 years old, this race is designed to cater specifically to adult runners seeking both physical challenge and community spirit. A mandatory briefing will commence at 2:45 pm for all competitors ahead of the official start time at 3 pm sharp.
