The Mühlenweg Ultra, nestled within the picturesque Wiehengebirge region of Germany, offers runners an unforgettable two-day journey through stunning landscapes and historical sites. Scheduled for 2025, this ultra-distance race is a celebration of endurance and exploration.
### Course Overview
#### Day One: Wallenhorst to Ostercappeln
The first day begins at the Kirchplatz in Wallenhorst and concludes near the Engterstr./Bundesstraße intersection in Ostercappeln. This 51.9 km route winds through charming villages, past ancient mills, and along scenic paths that showcase the region's rich history.
#### Day Two: Ostercappeln to Wallenhorst
The second day picks up where the first left off, starting at the same intersection in Ostercappeln before returning to Wallenhorst. Spanning 48.5 km, this leg of the race continues to offer breathtaking views and a sense of adventure.
### Race Details
Start Times:
- Saturday: 7:45 AM
- Sunday: 7:45 AM
Participants can choose from three options:
1. Completing both days (a total distance of 100 km)
2. Day One only (51.9 km)
3. Day Two only (48.5 km)
Each day has a time limit of ten hours, allowing runners ample opportunity to soak in the scenery and enjoy the journey.
### Registration
Registration is open until August 23rd at 6 PM or until full capacity is reached with up to 30 participants. The race can be joined via Race Result for results and certificates post-event.

- Single day entry: €18
### Logistics
Transportation from Wallenhorst to Ostercappeln is arranged through carpooling or taxi services. Participants are encouraged to coordinate with fellow runners for shared rides, ensuring a smooth start and finish.
Key Locations:
Day One includes a convenience store in Hollage around 29 km into the race.
Day Two features Knollmeyer Gasthaus at approximately 37.5 km along the route, offering refreshments and rest stops.
### Amenities
The course is marked with white markers for easy navigation. No restroom or shower facilities are provided on-site; however, participants can find amenities in nearby towns as needed.
### Support Services
Race officials will be present to time each day’s race manually using handheld devices. The organizers also provide two designated feeding stations during both days of the event.
### Rules and Regulations
Participants must adhere strictly to all regulations concerning route adherence and environmental protection. Any deviation from the marked path or littering may result in disqualification.
