About the Event

Celebrate the Fredericia Triathlon Team's birthday on Sunday, September 13, 2026, with a free family-friendly event at FIC. The day promises to be filled with fun and excitement as participants of all ages have the opportunity to experience their first triathlon in a welcoming atmosphere.
The event offers two distances suitable for beginners and seasoned athletes alike. Participants will start by swimming laps in the indoor pool, followed by cycling around the idyllic surroundings of FIC before concluding with a run through scenic trails near the sports center. The race begins at 9:00 AM, with heats starting every half hour to accommodate up to 200 participants.
After crossing the finish line, enjoy a well-deserved hot dog and socialize around the grill area that opens promptly at 11:00 AM. This event is open to anyone aged six years or older, making it an ideal day for families looking to try their hand at triathlon racing together.
