Welcome to the Fredericia Løbeklub/Randdal Cannonball race, celebrating Lars Powerman Wolff's remarkable achievement of completing his 200th half marathon. Join us on this special day as we cheer for Lars and enjoy a festive run through Randal Forest.
The event kicks off at Vester Ringvej 100 in Fredericia, right next to the football stadium. All participants will gather here by 8:50 AM for a brief meeting before the race starts promptly at 9:00 AM. The course is an enjoyable loop of 5.3 kilometers through Randal Forest, offering runners scenic views and fresh air as they circle around.
Medals are awarded to all registered participants who cross the finish line, while diplomas can be downloaded from the results page after the race. For those registering on-site, there's no guarantee of receiving a medal due to limited stock. Fredericia Løbeklub members have the option to purchase medals for 25 DKK if they didn't receive one.
Before the start, we'll take a group photo in front of our club house, so please step aside if you don’t want your picture taken. The race has a generous cutoff time of six hours and thirty minutes, allowing plenty of time to enjoy the run without pressure.
Refreshments will be available at designated points along the route, including sweet snacks, salty treats, cola, and homemade cakes baked by our club members. After finishing, runners are invited to join us for coffee in the clubhouse where we’ll have a chance to relax and socialize with fellow participants.
Changing facilities are located in the basement of the clubhouse, providing a convenient spot for those who need to freshen up after their run. If you forget something at home or lose an item during the race, contact Erik at 23304128 to arrange pickup.
For safety reasons and legal requirements, participants must be at least 16 years old for the half marathon distance and 18 for a full marathon (though no marathon is offered in this event). On-site registration can only be completed via MobilePay. Once you've registered, there are no refunds as spots are limited.
