37th Annual Midnight Madness Run

About the Event

Experience the thrill of running into the New Year at Phoenix’s iconic Midnight Madness, celebrating both the end of 2026 and the beginning of 2027. The StartLine Racing team is proud to host this beloved tradition for its 37th year.
On December 31st, lace up your shoes and join runners from across the city at the final 5K race of 2026 starting promptly at 10:30 PM. As midnight approaches, revel in the festive atmosphere with a New Year's Eve celebration that promises to set the tone for the upcoming year.
Then, on January 1st, kick off your new beginnings early morning by participating in the first 5K race of 2027 at 12:10 AM. The run will be followed by a sparkling cider toast, marking the perfect way to welcome the New Year with friends and fellow runners.
Midnight Madness offers more than just racing; it’s an event that brings together communities in celebration, making memories that last well beyond the finish line. Whether you’re looking for a challenging race or simply want to enjoy the festive spirit of the season, this event has something special to offer every runner.
