3º CICLOTURISMO DE MATO QUEIMADO

The Cicloturismo Mato Queimado is set to take place on November 7, 2026, offering cyclists of all ages and skill levels the chance to explore the scenic landscapes around Rio Grande do Sul. The event begins with a gathering at Rua Coberta where participants will embark on either the long or medium distance routes.
The longer route promises an engaging journey through both asphalt roads and unpaved terrain, providing riders with varied challenges that test endurance and resilience. Meanwhile, the medium-distance path offers a more manageable yet equally rewarding experience for those looking to enjoy a day out cycling without pushing their limits too far. For younger enthusiasts aged 15 or under, there's also a dedicated kids' route designed specifically for them.
Participants will be supported throughout by a team of guides and vehicles providing mechanical assistance and hydration stations along the way. Additionally, medical services are readily available in case any unexpected issues arise during the ride.
The event not only fosters camaraderie among cyclists but also promotes environmental awareness as riders traverse through areas that highlight the beauty and importance of preserving natural landscapes. All participants will receive medals upon completion if they register early enough to secure one of the limited spots, while the first 100 registrants will be awarded a cycling bag.
Registration is free and open from October 6th to November 2nd on the event’s official website (www.ucrsm.com.br). Cyclists are encouraged to ensure their health through medical evaluations before participating. The day promises an enjoyable blend of sport, community engagement, and appreciation for nature's beauty.
Cycloturismo Mato Queimado is a celebration of cycling culture in Brazil, inviting riders from around the region to come together on this autumn Sunday.
