About the Event

On Saturday, August 29th, 2026, runners and community members are invited to take part in the third annual North Branch-Hortonville Firehouse Race. This year's race kicks off at the historic North Branch Firehouse and concludes at the Hortonville Firehouse just as their Annual Field Day festivities begin.
Participants will have the opportunity to support local volunteer firefighters by contributing to the North Branch Firehouse, which uses funds from this event to improve its operations and emergency response capabilities. All finishers can look forward to receiving a commemorative medal upon crossing the finish line, in addition to enjoying free refreshments at the Hortonville Field Day Beverage Tent when they present their bib number (21+ only).
Early registrants will also be guaranteed a race shirt while supplies last; early registration closes on August 1st. Those who prefer to sign up on race day can do so between 7am and 8am at the North Branch Fire Department.
This event promises not just a run through scenic routes, but an integral part of community support for those who dedicate their lives to keeping us safe.
