40th Annual Amish Country Bike Tour

The Amish Country Bike Tour, returning on October 10, 2026, invites cyclists to explore the picturesque and serene landscapes of central Delaware. Starting from Legislative Mall at 410 Legislative Ave., Dover, DE, this non-timed event offers routes ranging from a leisurely 16 miles up to the challenging century ride.
The route weaves through the tranquil Amish countryside, offering breathtaking views that are both calming and invigorating. Cyclists can expect friendly volunteers along the way who will ensure safety and provide assistance when needed. Each participant is encouraged to enjoy unique scenery and the local charm of this historic region.
Rest stops, up to five in total depending on your chosen route, are strategically placed throughout the tour. These include Harvest Ridge Winery (MaryDel), Painted Stave Distillery (Smyrna), Felton Little League (Felton), Emanuel AME Church (Hartly), and a central stop at the Amish Schoolhouse in Dover where you'll savor locally baked pies.
The event concludes with a catered lunch, featuring delicious food from local trucks, non-alcoholic beverages, adult drinks served with tickets, live entertainment by Glass Onion, DJ sets, merchandise sales, and various vendors. All activities are held on Legislative Mall (410 Legislative Ave) in historic downtown Dover, Delaware, providing an enriching experience beyond the ride itself.
Participants can track their progress using the TraqCentral app, which also allows friends and family to monitor your journey. This tool was a huge success last year, enhancing safety and communication among riders.
