41ª CORRIDA DO CÍRIO - 2026

The Corrida do Círio is more than just a race—it's an integral part of the cultural fabric and sporting tradition of Belém, Amazonas. Celebrating its 41st edition on October 18, 2026, this event brings together thousands of runners from all walks of life for what has become one of the most anticipated races in Brazil.
This year’s Corrida do Círio will take place over two days at the iconic Portal da Amazônia, a landmark that serves as the official venue. The race features both 5K and 10K distances, each with unique categories designed to cater to all types of participants:
- Prova 5K: Scheduled for October 17th (Saturday) starting at 6:00 AM.

- Prova 10K: On the main day, October 18th (Sunday), also beginning at 6:00 AM.
The categories include age groups and special classes like the Fantasy Costume category for both genders in the 10K race. The event is open to runners aged 16 or older for the 5K and those who are 18 or over for the longer distance, ensuring that participants meet the required minimum ages by December 31st of this year.
Registration opens on April 27th through October 4th, with pricing divided into three lotteries. The cost varies from R$109.90 to R$259.90 depending on which stage you register in for either the individual or combined race packages. Payment methods include credit card and PIX transactions.
Each participant will receive a kit upon registration confirmation, comprising an official event shirt, timing chip, bib number, promotional materials (if applicable), as well as post-race items like medals, fruits, and water. The kits can be picked up personally by the athlete from October 14th to October 16th at designated locations.
Runners with disabilities or senior citizens eligible for legal discounts must present their documentation during kit pickup. This includes a photo ID, medical report matching the registered category, disability identification card (if applicable), and signed declaration of truth and responsibility.
