Course conditions will be ideal for all runners and walkers on October 18th. The race starts at Thomas F Daley Memorial Park, where participants can gather before the event gets underway. The course layout includes a mix of paved roads and trails, creating an enjoyable experience with minimal elevation changes. Along the way, there are several aid stations to keep you fueled and hydrated as needed.

On race day, pick up your bib number starting from Thomas F Daley Memorial Park between 7:30 AM and 8:30 AM. The first-timer packet will include a detailed map of the course as well as all necessary information to help you navigate through LaPlace with ease. Age requirements are open for anyone over the age of 16, ensuring that both seasoned runners and newcomers alike can enjoy this community event.
Come out on October 18th, 2026, in LaPlace, Louisiana, United States, for a nightmarishly fun yet friendly run or walk through our historic city. With two distances to choose from—2 Mile Run/Walk or the longer 5 Mile Run/Walk—you can decide how much of this community spirit and local culture you want to embrace.
