For the youngest competitors, there are Hervis Kids Races with distances ranging from 300 meters for children aged five years or younger to 1000 meters for those between nine and eleven years old. These races provide an introduction to running in a fun-filled environment. The main event features two courses: a shorter 11-kilometer race suitable for all age groups, including youth categories like U20 (born in 2007 or later), as well as adult divisions from Altersklasse 1 through 5. The longer course is designed specifically for the Wanderklasse category, starting at 9:00 AM and offering participants a more leisurely pace without age restrictions. Participants can also join the relay team event, which consists of three runners covering approximately 3,5 kilometers, 4.5 kilometers, and 3 kilometers respectively. The first runner starts alongside the main race but continues on to complete their full distance after passing the baton to the second runner. This format ensures that all participants have an equal chance at competition and camaraderie. Registration for this event is open until August 1st, 2026, with a deadline of 7:30 PM. After this date, late entries are possible up until one hour before each race's start time but will incur an additional fee of €10 on top of the standard entry cost. All runners receive a starter gift upon registration and those participating in the Wanderklasse category can look forward to receiving commemorative medals at the finish line. The first ten relay teams also earn special prizes, adding extra excitement for team competitors. The race day begins early with start number distribution from 7:30 AM until an hour before each event's starting time. This allows ample opportunity for runners and their families to familiarize themselves with the course layout and enjoy the pre-race atmosphere in Steinberg Stadion Leogang, the venue that hosts both the beginning and end of all race categories.
