6. DEVIL'S LOOP - Langenberg Backyard Ultramarathon

The Devil's Loop, an intense and challenging race, takes place deep within the Langenberger Forest near Enge-Sande. Competitors must embark on their journey at each full hour, tackling a grueling 6.66-kilometer circuit known as "THE DEVILS LOOP." Participants have exactly one hour to complete this loop; those who fail to cross the finish line by the next full hour are disqualified.
The event culminates in crowning three winners: “THE LAST MAN STANDING,” “THE LAST WOMAN STANDING,” and the best “3ER TEAM.” Teams of three can compete for the team title, where each member must individually register with an identical name to participate. The total number of loops completed by all members determines their final ranking.
For those seeking a full immersion experience, camping is available at a cost of 10 euros per spot, which includes space for your car or caravan and two people right next to the start/finish area. This limited accommodation must be reserved during registration as it's first-come, first-served.
Should plans change, participants can cancel their entry up until eight weeks before the event at no cost. Within this period, cancellation is still possible but comes with a 6.66-euro fee. The organizers also offer merchandise through an online shop where runners can purchase exclusive items such as the Fusion C3 Devils Loop function shirt (45 euros), a cozy hoodie (54 euros), or a stylish beanie (15 euros).
