7. Rabantalm-Trophy 2026

Rabantalm Trophy, scheduled for Sunday, August 2, 2026, offers a unique and challenging experience for athletes of all kinds. This mixed-team competition allows participants to join as runners or e-bikers, providing an inclusive atmosphere that caters to diverse skill sets.
Organized by the Sportunion Nikolsdorf under the leadership of Mike Fasching (Tel: 0676 841 73 113; Email: mfasching2@gmx.at), this event features several distinct categories and routes designed for both competitive racing and recreational enjoyment.
The MTB Ortner Säge race kicks off at 10:02 AM, with a mass start that includes elite (born between 1986-2013) and master (age 1985 or older) categories competing on the same challenging course of 8.3 kilometers with an elevation gain of 580 meters. Teams consisting of three cyclists will also vie for fastest times, while mixed teams comprising one MTB rider, one runner, and either another cyclist or e-biker compete under a middle time format.
The Binter Bichl route, starting at 10:00 AM from the Chrysanthen area, is open to runners of all ages (born in 2019 or earlier) as well as hikers. This scenic 3.3-kilometer course with an elevation gain of 500 meters offers a more relaxed setting for those seeking a less competitive yet rewarding experience.
Participants can register online at www.nikolsdorf.at until July 7, 2026, at 7:30 AM. On the day of the event, start number collection will be available from 8:30 to 9:30 AM for MTB and e-bike competitors at the Sportplatz Nikolsdorf Clubhouse, while runners and hikers can pick up their numbers between 9:00 and 9:45 AM near Nörsach Binter Bichl under the Chrysanthen Church.
The event organizers will provide transportation for participants' gear from the start to the finish line at Rabantalm. A prize ceremony is scheduled for around 2 PM on the Sportplatz Nikolsdorf, where both material and honorary prizes await the winners.
Safety measures are paramount; helmets are mandatory for all cyclists, and strict adherence to traffic regulations applies throughout the race course.
