9/11 Memorial Climb

Join the UC Davis Police Department, Fire Department, and Athletics for an annual tribute that honors the sacrifices made on September 11, 2001. The 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb and Walk is a poignant way to remember first responders and victims alike.
Participants can choose between climbing in full uniform or joining as community members showing their solidarity. Registration includes a pancake breakfast served at the stadium to energize you for the day ahead, along with a commemorative T-shirt available only through early sign-ups.
The event kicks off on September 11th with the stadium opening its doors at 7:00 AM and the climb beginning promptly at 7:15 AM. Climbers will ascend multiple flights of stairs within UC Davis's iconic stadium, while supporters can participate in a walk around the track for 15 laps.
All proceeds from this event benefit the newly established UC Davis Police Emergency Scholarship Fund, which provides essential financial aid to students facing unexpected hardships. Your participation ensures that we never forget those who lost their lives and continue to support our community's heroes through education assistance.
