10th Annual Lake Forest Chamber Elf Yourself 5K

Step into the festive spirit at the 9th Annual Holiday FUN RUN 5K, hosted by the Lake Forest Chamber of Commerce on November 21, 2026. This family-friendly race takes place within the scenic confines of Lake Forest Sports Park and invites runners to embrace the "Elf Yourself" theme as they kick off the holiday season.
The course is a fast and flat 5K looped around the park's streets, ensuring an enjoyable run for all participants. The event features four waves designed to accommodate different paces: Fast PR Elves, Speedy Elves, Runner/Jogger Elves, and Walkers/Strollers/Pet Elves. Each wave will be led by pacers and a cyclist from Pure Ride Cycles, providing clear guidance throughout the race.
Upon crossing the finish line, every participant receives a Finisher's medal and is encouraged to celebrate in style with holiday-themed attire. The post-race expo offers an array of activities for all ages: local restaurants serving samples, vendor booths showcasing fitness companies, games and crafts for kids at Candy Cane Lane, bounce houses, photos with Santa, and even a pet costume contest.
Registration includes entry into various raffles and the chance to win exclusive race swag items. Early registrants can look forward to receiving commemorative gifts as part of their packet pick-up on November 20th from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Spectrum Specialties & Awards/The Lake Forest Chamber Office.
Parking is available within the park through Portola Parkway entrance, with overflow parking provided across the street at Saddleback Church for those arriving late or leaving early. The event schedule includes a warm-up led by Herbalife and live entertainment from carolers to keep runners in high spirits before they start their run.
