On October 11, 2026, runners will have the opportunity to explore the stunning trails of Château's historic village for two challenging trail races: a full marathon at 23 kilometers with an elevation gain of 800 meters and a half-marathon covering 12 kilometers with an ascent of 400 meters. Both courses feature scenic routes through lush landscapes, winding paths that meander around the picturesque old town.
The longer course consists of two loops: the first loop is identical to the shorter race at 12 kilometers with its own elevation challenge, while the second half adds another 11 kilometers and an additional ascent of 400 meters. The terrain varies from gentle climbs through wooded areas to more strenuous ascents in rocky sections.
For young runners eager to join in on the fun, a one-kilometer course is available with just 28 meters of elevation gain within the charming confines of the old village site.
