About the Event

Experience the annual tradition of the West River Road Time Trials organized by Adirondack Multi-Sport Club. This year, runners can choose between two exciting courses: a 10-mile out-and-back route for those who enjoy familiar territory and a new 20-kilometer option for those seeking a bit more challenge.
Race day opens with online registration via BikeReg, closing at 5:00 PM on race day. For last-minute registrants, walk-in options are available between 6:00 - 6:15 PM in the parking lot off Mill Site Road.
The event features self-seeding for both categories; 20K riders will start first, followed by those taking part in the 10-mile route. Participants can anticipate a lively atmosphere as you might hear some friendly "catch me if you can" calls during your run.
For parking, arrive at the gravel lot on Mill Site Road to secure your spot. Bibs are available for pickup between 6:00 - 6:20 PM near the timing trailer at the start; ensure yours is worn correctly—on the right side for West River Rd participants.
Road cyclists should note that only equipment permitted under USAC 1I1(g) may be used in this category. Disc wheels and TT helmets are allowed but might attract some friendly ridicule from fellow competitors. "Clip on" bar extensions, however, are not permitted; disputes regarding acceptable gear will be settled by the timer.

About Fort Edward

Fort Edward is a town and the county seat of Washington County, New York, United States. The population was 5,991 at the 2020 census. The municipal center complex is on U.S. Route 4 between the villages of Hudson Falls and Fort Edward. When construction of the complex was completed in 1994, most of the administrative offices were moved from the original county seat of Hudson Falls to this location. The town of Fort Edward is part of the Glens Falls Metropolitan Statistical Area.
