Experience the vibrant spirit of Oil City as you take on the Seneca Street Adventure Race! This family-friendly event welcomes runners and cyclists of all ages with three distinct distance options: 5-card, 6-card, or 7-card draws. Each participant must wear a helmet to ensure safety. Race day registration and packet pick-up will be held at Town Square, located on Seneca Street in Oil City, Pennsylvania, from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. on September 12, 2026. Shirts are available first-come, first-served. The race begins promptly at 9:00 a.m., with participants starting en masse or in waves of five minutes each based on the number of registrants. The course weaves through scenic landscapes, offering a mix of challenging and picturesque routes for all skill levels. Starting from Town Square, you'll cycle to McClintock Well before heading towards Haggerty’s Ice Cream stand. Next, the route takes you past Oil City Marina to Suzette Nellis Memorial Park where the 5-card turn occurs. For those seeking a longer challenge, continue on to River Ridge for the 6- and 7-card turns. The course is designed using parts of the Erie to Pittsburgh bike trail system, including McClintock Trail, Oil City Trail, and Samuel Justus Trail, providing a mix of flat and slightly hilly terrain. The 5-card draw covers approximately 9 miles; the 6-card route extends to about 12.5 miles; while those opting for the full 7-card adventure will cover around 16 miles. Post-race festivities include a delightful picnic at Town Square, where you can enjoy refreshments and celebrate your achievements with fellow participants.
