Around The Lake Give 'R Take 30

The Around The Lake Give'R Take 30 returns to Chilliwack, BC on October 17th, 2026. Participants will traverse around scenic Cultus Lake along forested trails and paths for the majority of the course, with shorter sections of roadside and beachside paths adding a touch of variety.
Race morning brings a cool yet comfortable setting: temperatures hover between a low of 7.8°C to a high of 14.7°C, feeling much like 11.2°C on race day. The atmosphere is serene as the lake reflects the autumn hues and the forested trails offer a peaceful backdrop for runners of all levels.
This event has been running since its inception in 2016, making it a cherished tradition among local communities. With over 500 participants annually, the race supports various charities and scholarships that benefit Chilliwack’s youth. It is more than just a trail experience; it's an opportunity to connect with nature while raising funds for important causes.
The course venue features firm yet slightly soft conditions, suitable for both solo runners and relay teams who will split into two legs of 17km and 13km respectively. The race offers a unique challenge as participants navigate the varied terrain, including sections that hug the lake’s shoreline. Alongside these trails are aid stations to keep runners fueled throughout their journey.
