About the Event

Embark on an unforgettable half marathon or 10K run along The Loop the Vedder Trail, nestled within the picturesque landscapes of Chilliwack. This race invites you to explore diverse and stunning terrains—from lush forests to serene valley trails—offering a unique running experience that showcases the natural beauty of British Columbia.
Race day commences at 8:30 AM from the Vedder Valley Trailhead on 240th Street in Chilliwack, providing participants with an exhilarating start. The half marathon covers 21 kilometers while the 10K route spans 10 kilometers, each offering breathtaking views and rewarding scenery.
For first-time runners, valid identification is required for age verification at the starting line. Participants under 16 must have a parent or guardian accompany them during the Kids Run event, which features a one-kilometer course that begins alongside the longer distances.
Bibs and timing chips are available for pickup from October 29th between 4 PM and 7 PM at the Chilliwack City Centre Library. Alternatively, you can collect these items on race day starting at 5 AM.
This community event not only challenges runners but also supports local trail initiatives and youth access programs, making it a significant contribution to both physical well-being and environmental stewardship in the region.
