ATW Box End Mixed Team Relay

Immerse yourself in the thrilling Team Relays at Box End Park, where camaraderie meets competition. This unique relay format offers three distinct team categories: an Olympic mixed team with two females and two open category athletes; all-female teams of four; and any mix of athletes for an open team.
Each participant embarks on a short triathlon before tagging their teammate to continue the challenge. The event kicks off at 6:30 pm, Saturday evening, in the crystal-clear waters of Box End's wakeboarding lake with a deep-water start followed by a brisk 350-meter swim leg. Cyclists then face a fast-paced 7.7km non-drafting bike course that winds around the venue before transitioning to a flat and scenic 1km run along the lakeside, offering stunning views of the transition area.
For solo entrants looking for team camaraderie but lacking teammates, single entry tickets are available; you'll be assigned to a group on race day. Team captains must provide initial details upon booking, while other members will submit their information via an online form before the event.
The venue welcomes athletes from all backgrounds and abilities, with no restrictions on club affiliations for team formation. Participants aged 16 or older by race day are eligible to compete in this exciting relay format.
Post-race festivities include a bar serving refreshments and snacks, ensuring you can unwind after your efforts. For those planning an extended stay, the park offers camping facilities adjacent to the event site.
In addition to the Team Relays, Sunday morning brings a 100k Centurion Triathlon along with sprint and standard distance races, making it perfect for athletes looking to extend their weekend of competition and camaraderie.
