Autismile is set to make its return on October 18, 2026, at Puzzler’s Cove, Ocean Beach, FI. This one-mile race offers runners the opportunity to support and celebrate the LI Autism Community by providing them with a much-needed respite from their daily routines. The event kicks off promptly at 11:00 AM for women participants, followed closely by the men's heat starting at 11:25 AM. Both heats will take place rain or shine, ensuring that no weather conditions can dampen this spirit-lifting occasion. The first 300 registrants will receive a commemorative T-shirt to wear with pride. The race begins on Wyandanch Avenue and features a gentle course designed for all runners to enjoy the scenic beauty of Ocean Beach while raising awareness and funds for autism support services. Participants are encouraged to park near the finish line, allowing them to easily relax their tired legs after crossing the finish line. Following the race, an award ceremony will take place approximately 150 yards from the finish line, recognizing top male and female runners with cash awards. The post-race celebration continues at Drift Inn, where participants can enjoy live music, mingle with fellow runners, and pick up their numbers for a memorable after-party. Autismile is part of Long Island's Running Series by USATF-LI Grand Prix, sponsored to support local communities in making a difference through sports.
