Battle of the Branches Run/Walk

Battle of the Branches, an annual race dedicated to raising awareness and funds for Veteran suicide prevention, takes place every year at Arizona Falls within G.R. Herberger Park. This 5K Run/Walk is not just about competition; it's a heartfelt tribute that honors Veterans and their families by fostering community support through physical activity.
The event features a friendly rivalry among different branches of the military, with one branch earning recognition for having the highest number of participants. However, everyone who joins in contributes to making a significant impact on reducing Veteran suicide rates. By participating, you not only show your commitment but also help fund essential services provided by Rally Point Arizona's Navigator program.
The course itself winds through dedicated running trails that offer a mix of compacted dirt and paved surfaces, providing runners with an engaging challenge while enjoying the scenic beauty of Arizona Falls. The trail is part of an open system where you might encounter bicycles, other pedestrians, or even horses along your route, making it important to be mindful and share space respectfully.

Children aged 12 years or younger can save $15 off their registration fee when they sign up online in advance. This family-friendly race also accommodates wheelchair users, stroller pushers, and leashed pets, ensuring that everyone can participate regardless of ability level.
