Step into history with the BBB10k, an exhilarating run through the picturesque and historic streets of Battle, East Sussex. This 10-kilometer course takes runners on a scenic journey that combines country lanes and tarmac roads, offering both flat stretches and challenging hills.
The race starts early on Sunday, September 6th at 9:30 AM, setting off from the heart of Battle and weaving through quaint villages before concluding at the iconic site of Battle Abbey. The course is meticulously measured to ensure accuracy for all competitors, providing a fair and exciting challenge for both novice runners and seasoned athletes.
Runners can expect an enthusiastic local crowd cheering them on throughout the race day. Previous events have seen residents lining the streets in full force, creating an electrifying atmosphere that adds to the excitement of crossing the finish line at Battle Abbey.
In addition to the main 10k event, there is also a chip-timed Junior Run for young participants covering 1500 meters from outside The Abbey. Both events are designed with safety and enjoyment in mind, ensuring all runners have an unforgettable experience.
Participants will receive a bespoke medal upon completion of their race, as well as trophies and prizes awarded to the leading finishers. Entry fees for the 10k event are set at £25 on-the-day registration (subject to availability).
