Lake Run, organized by BeAthlit, is an enchanting multi-event running series that takes place around Bengaluru's most picturesque water bodies. Each edition offers runners the opportunity to explore a different lake, ensuring a unique experience with fresh trails and captivating stories. This event isn't just about racing; it’s part of a larger journey where each completed run contributes towards earning special recognition. Completing five Lake Runs within a year earns participants the prestigious Legends of Lakes composite medal, signifying their dedication and commitment to this series. BeAthlit has introduced a new format for Lake Run that makes participation more accessible while fostering community spirit. Participants can choose any lake they wish to visit, register online, and then head over to collect their t-shirt on race day between 7 AM and 9 AM. The flexibility allows runners to enjoy the event solo or with friends and family. Runners are encouraged to track their run using fitness apps like Strava, Garmin, Google Fit, Nike Run Club, or RunKeeper. Once completed, they should show proof of their activity to BeAthlit’s team at the lake entrance in order to receive their medal. For children running alongside an adult, it's important that the parent or guardian shows their own tracking data for eligibility. Participants have a window from 6 AM to 9:30 AM on race day to complete their run of either 1.6K, 3K, 5K, or 10K distance at the lake they registered for. Since no bibs are provided and there is limited support available, runners should be prepared with personal hydration. The event highlights include stunning lakeside vistas and a chance to connect with fellow enthusiasts while contributing to maintaining these natural beauties through community engagement. Whether you're looking to challenge yourself or enjoy a leisurely jog amidst nature’s beauty, Lake Run offers an enriching experience for all levels of runners.
