BeckBusters 2km Fun Run 2026

The BeckBusters Fun Run, now entering its ninth year, is an engaging chip-timed race that offers runners of all ages a delightful experience. The 2km course begins at Bishop Monkton Primary School and takes participants on a scenic journey through quiet country roads before venturing down a picturesque farm track.
Participants have the option to splash through Beck for added fun, though it's not mandatory. This event is designed primarily for younger runners; those under eight years old must be accompanied by an adult who does not need to pay or register separately.
Upon completing their run, all finishers will receive a participation medal and can look forward to prizes awarded in overall categories as well as age groups. The race day atmosphere at Bishop Monkton Primary School is lively with the availability of freshly cooked bacon sandwiches and homemade cakes for entrants and supporters alike, ensuring everyone has something tasty to enjoy before or after their run.
The event is organized by the Friends of Bishop Monkton Primary School (Registered Charity 1050824), whose efforts aim to raise funds that will be used towards providing equipment and supporting improvements at the school.
