Beddington Park 10K

Nestled within the heart of Sutton, Beddington Park offers runners an enchanting blend of history and natural beauty. This 58-hectare oasis features lush landscapes that include formal gardens, tranquil woodland trails along the River Wandle, a restored lake teeming with wildlife such as kingfishers and little grebes, and expansive sports facilities.
The park's rich heritage is evident in its Tudor Great Hall and octagonal dovecote, which stand alongside modern amenities like an inclusive playground, café, outdoor gym, and various sports pitches. The event course winds through these diverse environments, providing a unique mix of pathways and fields that challenge runners while showcasing the park’s scenic beauty.
Competitors will navigate 4 laps plus an additional 40 meters, starting and finishing near the Pavilion Café. Known for its accurately measured route and flat terrain (97% pathway and 3% field), this course is designed to yield personal bests. The event features changing facilities, ample parking, and water stations along the way.
Registration takes place at Beddington Park Cafe between 8:30 am and 9:15 am on race day. Participants can also register online or opt for on-day registration if needed. Trophies are awarded to the top three finishers in both male and female categories, with a bespoke medal presented to all participants.
Previous records stand at an impressive 31 minutes and 28 seconds by Kevin Quinn (male) from 2010 and Lisa Rooney's time of 39 minutes and 12 seconds for females set in 2016.
The park’s proximity to British Rail Hackbridge station, just a five-minute walk away, makes it easily accessible for visitors traveling from nearby areas like Wallington.
