Step into one of the UK's most exhilarating team-based triathlon events as you join forces with your friends or club members for an unforgettable day. The 14th edition of this event, proudly sponsored by Zone3, takes place on July 18, 2027, at Box End Park in Bedford.
This unique relay format challenges teams to complete a full sprint triathlon together, fostering camaraderie and competition among athletes of all levels. Teams of three rotate through the swim, bike, and run stages, with each teammate taking turns until everyone has completed their portion.
The Swim
Each team member takes on 750 meters in Box End Lake, ensuring a well-organized and stress-free start for first-timers as well.
The Bike Ride
Pedal your way through 23 kilometers of scenic local roads. This single-lap course offers both country lanes and faster sections to keep the pace exciting throughout.
The Run
Finish strong with a flat, fast 5-kilometer run around Box End Park, perfect for celebrating team achievements at the finish line.
More Than Just Racing

Team Categories & Prizes
Compete across various categories including Open, Female, Mixed, and Veteran divisions (45+). The top three teams in each category will be awarded prizes to celebrate their hard-earned achievements.
Event Details
Registration begins at 06:30 AM with team captains collecting items for their squads. Ensure you have either a BTF Race Pass or proof of entry through the BTF Race Pass purchase process. With limited spots available, secure your place early as this event sells out quickly.
Entry Fees
The cost is £183 per team, and non-BTF members must also acquire a RacePass for an additional £8 during registration. For teams entering five or more participants, enjoy a 10% discount.
Requirements & Essentials
Athletes must be at least 15 years old by the end of December in the event year and either hold British Triathlon membership or purchase a RacePass upon entry. Helmets are mandatory for the bike portion, while wetsuits (rentals available via Zone3) and roadworthy bikes are recommended but not required.
On-Race Day
Receive crucial race information through an online briefing video prior to the event. Medical support will be on-site throughout the day along with facilities such as toilets, a transition area, and refreshments. Ensure you plan your hydration strategy accordingly since there won’t be any aid stations along the course.
