Experience the unique blend of running and shooting at the second edition of the Biathlon Running organized by Le Triathlon Club Pays de Muzillac on November 28, 2026. Located at Espace du Loch in Damgan (Morbihan), this event promises an engaging day for all ages. The course will take you through a scenic loop within the woods, offering runners a mix of challenging terrain and stunning natural beauty. After completing your run outside, head indoors to perfect your aim with laser guns during shooting sessions held in the multi-purpose hall. This innovative race combines elements from biathlon competitions, making it both fun and competitive for participants. Whether you're an experienced runner or new to the sport, there are multiple categories tailored to suit different skill levels: 1. Sprint 8km – A fast-paced course with five laps of approximately 1600 meters (8 kilometers), featuring four series of prone shooting. 2. Super-Sprint 4.5km – Perfect for those looking for a shorter but equally thrilling challenge, this event includes five laps of about 900 meters (4.5 kilometers) and the same number of shooting rounds. Both Sprint and Super-Sprint events will start every 15 seconds to ensure a smooth flow throughout the day. The courses are designed with safety in mind, ensuring runners complete their laps while maintaining pace. For those who wish to participate as teams, there are two relays available: 3. Generation Relay – Form your duo by pairing an adult (aged 16 and above) with a young runner between 12 and 15 years old. 4. Mixed Relay – Compete in pairs of mixed genders, each covering five laps before taking turns to shoot. All participants must arrive one hour early for their event to familiarize themselves with the shooting process. The day culminates with podiums being awarded separately for men, women, and families after both individual races and relays are completed. Your participation also contributes positively by supporting Damgan’s station of the National Sea Rescue Society – 1€ per participant will be donated towards this cause.
