Bieg Ryśca w Łomnicy-Zdroju 2026

Join us on August 15, 2026, for the next installment of "The Wild Trio" race series in Łomnica-Zdrój. This time around, runners will tackle a scenic route spanning approximately 17.5 kilometers through some breathtaking mountain terrain.
Participants should gather at Remiza OSP in Łomnica-Zdroj by 4:00 PM for the start of this challenging yet rewarding event, which has an impressive five-hour cutoff to ensure everyone can complete their journey comfortably. The race is open to individuals aged 16 and above who are enthusiastic about running or nordic walking.
The route winds through unsealed roads, forest paths, and gravel trails within Piwniczna-Nawojowa Forest District. Two hydration stations along the way will offer essential refreshments: one at around the 8-kilometer mark with drinks and energy gels, followed by another station near the 13-kilometer point providing beverages and fruit juices.
To ensure a safe experience for all participants, it is mandatory to wear headlamps due to the late finish time of approximately 9 PM. Additionally, organizers recommend bringing reusable cups or soft flasks as there will be no single-use cups available at hydration points.
The course begins by heading out from Remiza OSP along a district road towards Nawsia and then follows yellow markers leading up to Łabowska Hala where the first refreshment point awaits. From there, participants continue on red-marked paths toward Pisana Hala before switching to green trail signs back into town.
Race officials will be stationed throughout the route to guide runners safely through their journey. On-site registration and packet pickup begin at 1 PM, with road closures starting around 3:40 PM just ahead of the race's official start time of 3:45 PM for a brief warm-up session.
Entry fees vary based on when you sign up:
- June 10 - July 30, 2026: PLN 100
- July 1 - August 1, 2026: PLN 120
- August 1 - August 14, 2026: PLN 140
Late registration on the day of the event comes with a surcharge of an additional PLN 50. Once registered, entry fees are non-refundable.
Every participant will receive a race packet containing a unique chip number for timing purposes, safety pins, thermal blanket, one piece of randomly flavored energy gel, and various promotional items from sponsors upon completing the course within the set timeframe. Additionally, all finishers can look forward to receiving commemorative medals at the finish line as well as warm meals including vegetarian options.
Special prizes include a voucher worth PLN 100 for the first runner reaching PTTK Shelter W. Stendery on Łabowska Hala (or split equally between two runners in case of a tie), sponsored by Mr. Stender's family who initiated the shelter’s construction. Other rewards will be awarded randomly among those completing all three races throughout "The Wild Trio" series, such as vouchers for sporting goods stores and sports accessories.
