Bike and Run à Servon-sur-Vilaine

On September 20, 2026, the "Actions kiêthon" association will host its annual Autism Weekend in Servon-sur-Vilaine. As part of this initiative, they are organizing a unique Bike and Run event aimed at raising funds for families affected by autism.
The Bike and Run is an inclusive team competition where pairs consisting of one runner and one cyclist (mountain or road bike) collaborate to cover the designated distance together using just one bicycle. The teams can switch off as needed during the race, emphasizing teamwork over individual prowess. Since this event has a charitable purpose, there will be no official rankings; instead, participants' times will simply be recorded manually.
The weekend offers three distinct options for all levels of fitness and experience:
- A challenging 17 km route recommended for those aged 18 or older.
- An accessible 10 km course suitable for teams starting from age 16.
- A family-friendly 6 km circuit designed specifically for parents to run alongside their children cycling.
To ensure a smooth registration process, all participants must complete the required documentation available under the "documents" tab. For adults, this can be filled out on-site, while minors will need parental authorization and health questionnaires completed beforehand.
In addition to the Bike and Run event itself, which kicks off at 10:30 AM on Sunday, September 20th, there are several other activities planned throughout the weekend:
- A lively lottery hosted by ANIMLOTO35 on Friday evening (September 18) starting at 8 PM.
- Afternoon and evening sessions of petanque tournaments and a traditional guinguette atmosphere on Saturday (September 19).
- An accompanying guided hike also scheduled for Sunday morning.
