Billingen X-trail Challenge 2026

Welcome to the Skövde and Billinge X-trail Challenge for 2026, an exhilarating adventure set against the stunning backdrop of Sweden's picturesque countryside. Scheduled for September 5th, this trail race promises a challenging yet rewarding experience for runners of all levels.
The event offers two distinct routes: a longer 15-kilometer course and a more accessible 5-kilometer option designed to cater to both seasoned athletes and young participants alike. The start times are set at 10:00 AM for the 15K race, followed by the 5K race starting promptly at 10:30 AM.
Registration remains open until just before each race's scheduled start time, allowing last-minute enthusiasts to sign up on-site during number collection. For those participating in the longer course, you must be a minimum of 16 years old, while younger runners aged 12 and above can join the shorter route.
Number bibs will be available for pick-up from 8:00 AM at the summit of Billingebacken, providing ample time to prepare before the race begins. The courses themselves showcase a diverse terrain, featuring charming trails, smooth gravel paths, and challenging inclines that test your endurance and agility throughout the run.
A shared energy station will be available along both routes, offering essential hydration and sustenance for participants as they push through their respective distances.
