Blue Ridge Freedom 5K

We are so excited to be back with our 4th of July celebration run to be held July 4, 2027.

Join us for this fun July 4th race in the heart of downtown Blue Ridge.  Our race is centrally located between two amazing local businesses in Blue Ridge.. Check out Blue Ridge Sip and Play a fun place to take your pup for some playtime and also stop in at Angry Hops Brewing for a sampling or their amazing brews!!  

Early bib pickup is **** JULY 2nd or 3rd and is HIGHLY RECOMMENED!!!  We are expecting record crowds to celebrate America's 250th. 

Packet pickup -  NEW THIS YEAR:  Additional bib pickup added July  2nd from 4-6:30 at Angry Hops,  341 East Main Street, Blue Ridge

July 3rd from 2-5:30 pm at Angry Hops Brewery - 341 East Main Street, Blue Ridge.  
Angry Hops has lots of fun planned for our runners who pickup early.  

RACE DAY PICKUP -  July 4 from 6:00 am - 7:15 am at Angry Hops,  341 East Main Street, Blue Ridge.

Sip and Play will have a doggie water station to keep our furry runners hydrated and cool.  And to keep our runners hydrated, Sip and Play will be selling mimosas and bloody Mary's to enjoy after the race.  Angry Hops will also be open after the race to server our thirsty runners some of their amazing beers!

The race start and finish is located at Blue Ridge Sip and Play/Angry Hops -  342 E Main St, Blue Ridge, GA 30513. 

Online Registration will be open through July 4 at 7:15 a.m.    All registration is online through July 4 at 7:15.  No walk up registration. No walk up cash registration. 

Most spirited runner awards will be given to our most creative red, white and blue dressed runners. 

Awards will be given for 1st through 3rd for overall male and female, masters male and female, and age groups in five year increments.  Awards ceremony will begin at approximately 8:30 a.m.

Discount pricing for children under 10.

Strollers welcome at the back of the pack. 

Dogs welcome at the back of the pack and not in the registration/packet pickup line on race day. 

Walkers are always welcome!
