Bluebell 10 mile TT #13

Riders are invited to participate in an exhilarating time trial along the picturesque roads of Fenland. This cycling event is organized under Cycling Time Trials (CTT) rules and regulations, ensuring a fair and competitive environment for all participants.
The race commences at Ufford Hill on April 19th and August 23rd starting from 6:46 PM and shifts to 7:01 PM during May through July. Entries must be submitted in advance as no entries will be accepted on the day of the event. The event is primarily open to members of Fenland Clarion CC, including first and second claim riders. Guests are welcome but should note that after riding two events, they'll need to join the club if intending to continue participating.
The course begins at a gateway atop Ufford Hill on the road connecting Ufford-Marholm (Stamford). Riders will proceed through several key turns, including a left turn onto King Street towards Helpston and another left onto B1443 past the railway crossing into Bainton. The route then loops back to complete one lap before heading for the finish line at 10.4 miles.
Participants must adhere strictly to safety guidelines: working front and rear lights are mandatory, as is wearing an approved helmet throughout the race. Riders will start in intervals of one minute each, ensuring a smooth flow along the course while minimizing congestion on public roads shared with other traffic including farm vehicles, horses, and non-competing cyclists.
Parking facilities are available at Vergette's Field shortly after the finish line for convenient access post-race. Competitors should be prepared to follow specific instructions regarding road conditions and safety protocols, such as navigating S-bends and a sharp left turn near Langley Bush Road with extra caution due to potential debris on the roads.
Marshals will guide riders through crucial sections of the course, including the neutralized zone in Bainton where speeds must not exceed 20 mph. Riders are required to shout their numbers at designated points for timing accuracy and safety checks along the route.
