Participants can choose between EBike and traditional analog map courses, ensuring there's a perfect fit for everyone from beginners to experienced riders. Upon arrival at registration, which opens at 09:30am, you'll have the opportunity to borrow a waterproof OS map board if needed. The event kicks off with an informative briefing followed by the start window between 09:45am and 10:30am. Your mission is to navigate through various checkpoints within a three-hour time limit using your GPS-enabled device, such as MapRun App on Android or iPhone, Garmin Watch with MapRunG App, or any other compatible GPS watch. Participants will receive detailed maps of the course area at registration and must plan their own routes based on these maps. The terrain is varied, offering both challenging climbs and exhilarating descents that test your navigation skills as much as your physical prowess. Post-ride refreshments include tea, coffee, warm sausage rolls, and cake in the event hall, providing a cozy spot to regroup with fellow competitors.
