The Broadway Marathon & Half Marathon invites runners to immerse themselves in the breathtaking landscapes of northern Cotswolds, where rolling hills and quaint villages provide an idyllic backdrop for both distance races. Set against the charming village of Broadway, the route ventures through lush woodlands, winding trails, and picturesque countryside. Runners begin on Broadway High Street before ascending towards Broadway Tower, offering panoramic views across The Vale of Evesham as they climb. Continuing to Snowshill and Stanway, the marathon splits from its half-marathon counterpart at this point, taking runners into Winchcombe—a town renowned for its walking trails—where Sudeley Castle adds a historic touch. The final stretch includes an imposing hill that tests endurance before descending back towards Broadway via undulating fields and woodlands. Both races are marked with clear directions and marshals stationed strategically to ensure safety throughout the course. Licensed by the TRA under UK Athletics rules, participants must be at least 18 years old for the marathon and 17 years old for the half-marathon on race day. The event also offers XCover insurance, providing peace of mind in case unforeseen circumstances prevent attendance. The Broadway Marathon GPX file is available to download for detailed course mapping. The same goes for the Half Marathon GPX file, ensuring runners have all necessary information at hand.

About Broadway
Learn more about the host city, Broadway.
Broadway is one of the most famous streets in New York City if not the world. Most people think of it as a street in Manhattan past skyscrapers, the theater and Times Square, but there's more to it; Broadway continues into the Bronx and Westchester County all the way to Sleepy Hollow and has a length of about 33 miles or 53 km.
