Business2Run Varena 2026 invites companies and organizations to participate in its eleventh edition on Wednesday, September 2, 2026. This year’s theme emphasizes the importance of thinking while running with the slogan "Who thinks while running, moves!" Teams consisting of three colleagues will compete together as part of a team-building initiative.
The registration period for this event offers an early bird special until April 30, allowing teams to sign up at a discounted rate of €100 (net) per group. This equates to just over €33 per person and is designed to encourage company-wide participation from employees and even their bosses.
Participants will embark on a scenic route that begins at the parking deck above Varena. The course takes them through picturesque streets including Unterer Agergasse, Gmundner Straße, and Vöcklabrucker Straße before entering into lush countryside via a field path with sharp turns leading to Lindenstraße. After traversing this charming street, runners return along Vöcklabrucker Straße back towards Untere Agergasse.
The race continues through a mix of forest trails and gravel paths near the picturesque Vöckla riverbank before making its way under B1 for a quick turnaround heading back toward the parking deck. As they approach the finish line, runners will complete their journey by crossing two more levels at the top of the parking structure above Varena.
This event promises an engaging day out with colleagues and concludes with an after-party to celebrate everyone's achievements together.
