About the Event

For detailed race information and entry procedures, please refer to the official announcement on Rad-Net.de. Participants must ensure they have a valid license or day pass before registering for any races; exceptions are made for recreational events involving fat tires. In cases of uncertainty, it is advised to contact the event organizers directly.
Registration through Race-Result Portal does not substitute for necessary licensing requirements and should be completed alongside obtaining an appropriate license via Rad-Net's License Portal at https://lizenzen.rad-net.de/.
Timing during races typically relies on transponder technology provided by RSV-Timing. Each rider must affix their assigned transponder to the left side of their front fork near the jury bus for accurate timekeeping. Transponders mounted elsewhere, such as on handlebars or in jersey pockets, may not be recognized and could result in disqualification.
It is imperative that riders use only RSV-Timing transponders; other brands are incompatible with race timing systems. After completing the event, participants must return their transponder to the number distribution booth at the finish line. Failure to do so can lead to billing for replacement costs.
To conserve battery life on unused transponders during non-race periods, riders should avoid lingering near the finish area if they are not actively participating in a race. Starting positions generally require cyclists to be positioned no less than two meters ahead of the finish line and centered under the finishing arch unless otherwise instructed by officials.
For clarity and ease of identification by judges, start numbers must be displayed vertically on the back with clear visibility towards the jury bus area.

Aachen is a historically important city, spa and university centre in North Rhine-Westphalia, situated at the "three lands corner" where the borders of Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands meet. Known as Aix-la-Chapelle in French and Aken in Dutch, the city has played a prominent role in early Medieval Europe, when it became the favoured residence of Charlemagne, the first Holy Roman Emperor who created the Carolingian Empire in the late 8th and early 9th century and built the city's impressive cathedral, where he is now buried along with a succession of later German rulers, many of whom were also crowned in the city.
