About the Event

Corpus Christi Neighborhood Fitness is excited to host an evening of community engagement and wellness at Nueces County North Park, located at 415 Mainer Road. This free event aims to foster a healthier lifestyle among residents by offering various activities that cater to all fitness levels.
Participants can pick up their bibs on the day of the event between 5:15 PM and 6:00 PM before diving into the festivities. The evening kicks off with a scenic 5K run at 6:00 PM, winding through North Park's lush trails and open spaces. This route promises an enjoyable experience for runners of all abilities.
Following the race, participants are invited to stay for Zumba sessions starting promptly at 6:30 PM. The high-energy dance workout is designed to get everyone moving while having fun in a supportive environment. Yoga enthusiasts can also join us from 7:30 PM onwards; just remember to bring your own yoga mat.
Nueces County North Park offers the perfect setting for these activities, with its well-maintained pathways and serene atmosphere providing an ideal backdrop for both exercise and relaxation. The event is part of a series of initiatives by Corpus Christi Neighborhood Fitness aimed at promoting physical activity throughout the community.

About Robstown

Learn more about the host city, Robstown.

Robstown is a city in Nueces County, Texas, of the United States of America, and is a western suburb of Corpus Christi. It was founded in 1907 by a land speculator from Keota, Iowa by the name of George H. Paul. Paul purchased 10,410.43 acres of the Driscoll Ranch located north of the Texas-Mexican Railroad built in 1875. Around the same period, Robert Driscoll Jr. opened a small shop known locally as "Robs Store". The residents soon started referring to the surrounding settlement as "Rob's town", a name that eventually became Robstown. The population was 10,383 as of July 1, 2024.
