The Clifton Park Community Reformed Church (CCRC) is excited to present the 19th Annual CCRC 5K and Kids' Fun Run on Saturday, October 3rd, 2026. This family-friendly event offers a scenic route through charming neighborhoods of Clifton Park, winding around the picturesque Clifton Park Commons. Participants can look forward to a flat course that is suitable for runners and walkers alike, making it an ideal opportunity for all ages to enjoy physical activity outdoors. The race kicks off at 3:00 PM with the 5K run/walk, followed by a kids' 1K fun run starting at 4:00 PM. Both events are sanctioned by USA Track and Field, ensuring fair competition under chip timing provided by Underdog Race Timing. After the races, everyone is invited to stay for an included BBQ dinner that starts immediately after the children's race. The event not only promotes wellness but also raises funds for Camp Under the Woods in Queensbury, New York, which supports summer camp programs for children with special needs. Race registration begins at 1:00 PM on Race Day and closes promptly at 2:30 PM to allow ample time for preparation. Early registrants who sign up by April 25th will have their T-shirt sizes guaranteed; all participants receive a free event T-shirt regardless of when they register, as long as mail-in entries are received no later than October 1st. Awards and prizes add an exciting element to the day's events. Top male and female finishers in both races will be recognized along with six family team divisions. A special prize drawing is held for all participants, ensuring that everyone has a chance to win something regardless of their race performance. The event concludes around 6:00 PM when the BBQ dinner wraps up, providing ample time for socializing and enjoying the warm community atmosphere in Clifton Park. Christ Community Reformed Church at 1010 Route 146 offers convenient parking for attendees.
