Chewacla Cha Cha Trail Race 5K / 10K Sunday, September 13, 2026 · 8:00 AM CST Chewacla State Park — 1245 Shell Toomer Parkway, Auburn, AL Benefiting Valley Rescue Mission Course Overview Lace up and join us on the rolling, scenic singletrack trails of Chewacla State Park in Auburn, Alabama. The race course features: One 5K or 10K loop of beautiful wooded trails Gentle elevation changes perfect for new and seasoned trail runners A fun, supportive community vibe This event supports a great cause while giving you a true taste of Alabama trail running. Race Distances 5K — One scenic loop 10K — Two loops Both races will start in staggered waves to ensure a smooth and safe start for everyone. Registration & Swag Cost: $55 for 5K $65 for 10K After August 22, 2026: $70 for 5K $80 for 10K Guaranteed T-shirt size cutoff: August 30, 2026 Each runner receives: A race shirt A finisher award Plenty of trail cred No transfers, refunds, or deferments allowed. Awards Overall Male and Female winners for each race distance. Aid Stations & Hydration 1 on-course aid station 1 at the finish line Each station will offer: Water CeraSport Individually wrapped snacks (pretzels, chips, fruit chews, candy) Bring your own water bottle. September in Alabama can be hot, and hydration is essential. We reserve the right to pull runners from the course if they show signs of dehydration or distress. Entrance Fee $4.00 Day Use Fee per person (not included in registration) Pay at the park gate upon entry. Carpooling encouraged to help reduce congestion.
