What’s new for 2026
All routes have been completely redesigned and updated, with brand-new sections for both the GRAVEL EROICO – GRAVEL LUNGO – GRAVEL PARADISO routes (identified by the GREVEL logo) and the MTB routes (INFERNO – PURGATORIO).

The PARADISO route is accessible to everyone, even to less-trained riders, and represents the perfect gateway to discovering Chianti.

MTB Routes: INFERNO – PURGATORIO
Technical routes designed for MTB or E-Bike riders, perfect to test your skills while exploring Chianti.
GRAVEL EROICO – GRAVEL LUNGO
Flowing routes to tackle with a Gravel or MTB bike. How hard you push is up to you, depending on the distance and elevation gain you choose… but you’ll return home with Chianti in your heart.
GRAVEL PARADISO
A cycling excursion for less-trained riders and for anyone looking to get closer to the world of Chianti Down Country.

All routes are signposted, except for GRAVEL EROICO, for which only the GPX track will be provided—in true Gravel spirit!
Start and finish are in the town of Greve in Chianti, known as the Gateway to Chianti. You’ll ride through unique landscapes, discovering charming villages, forests and some of the most beautiful vineyards in Chianti. Aid stations and the race pack feature carefully selected local Chianti products.
Get ready for a full day of adventure, free from the stress of competition—because Chianti Down Country is NOT a race! 🚵‍♂️🍷
