Childrens St Davids Day Dragon Run 2027 - Wales

Celebrate St David's Day with the inaugural Children’s Dragon Run on February 27, 2027, at Dare Valley Country Park in Wales. This festive race honors Saint David, the patron saint of Wales, and invites families to join in the Welsh celebrations through a fun run.
Participants can choose between two distances: a kid-friendly 2.5k loop or a slightly longer 5k route. Both courses wind through the picturesque Dare Valley Country Park on well-maintained paths that offer stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The terrain is flat and easy to navigate, making it perfect for runners of all ages.
Upon completing your chosen distance, you will receive an exclusive themed medal as a token of achievement. Additionally, there are free parking facilities available at the venue along with toilets for convenience during the event.
Race day instructions will be emailed out in advance so that everyone is well-prepared and informed about race details such as number pick-up procedures which take place on-site before the start time.
Remember to bring your own reusable water bottle, as refilling stations will be provided at key points along the course. For safety reasons, only bone-conducting headphones are allowed during the run.
Please note that while there is a designated area for leaving bags near the starting line and finish line, it is not secure; therefore, avoid storing valuable items here.
